ABOUT ME

Hey! I'm Temitope, a frontend engineer from Lagos, Nigeria and I enjoy building scalable and interactive web experiences

I'm a frontend engineer with three years of experience and a genuine love for building things people use and enjoy. I'm gradually transitioning into machine learning with a focus on MLOps and AI Safety, and I'm actively searching for senior frontend roles or entry-level opportunities in data science and machine learning. It would be a dream of mine to find a role that combines both, to ease my transition. I'm especially interested in teams I can grow with over the long term and I'm open to relocation. Please reach out to me if this sounds like a good fit.

Projects
What I did: - Migrated to a micro-frontend architecture (Module Federation, Vite, TypeScript, Tailwind, React Query) with isolated domains for three user types — Experts, Stations, and Publicists - Built a shared component library and design system used across all products - Helped define API contracts as the backend moved from GraphQL → REST and monolith → microservices - Rebuilt onboarding from 5 steps → 2, added OAuth (Google, LinkedIn, Facebook), deferred non-critical fields → +54% completion rate - Built AI-powered talent discovery with search, filtering, and profile summaries → reduced vetting time by ~70% - Built a geo-personalized live news feed, public scheduling/calendar system, and real-time notification layer Also operated on the product side — PRDs, sprint planning, feature scoping — shipping throughout the migration without pausing new feature work.
V1 — Launch Prep - Fixed bugs and shipped improvements and updates across core modules — customers, inventory, invoices, orders, order tracking, and the dashboard — to get the application production-ready V2 — Architecture & Implementation - Initiated and led the V2 reimplementation, collaborating directly with the founder and CTO to define the architecture - Built the Mercury V2 (Fisco) component library - Implemented core modules: orders, inventory, invoices, order tracking, and dashboard
Built with Next.js, TypeScript, SCSS, and custom JS animations ― I mean, you're currently looking at it. Whatcha think?
Lead Frontend Engineer for Devfest Lagos, an annual tech festival. Each year, I lead a team that designs and ships a suite of web products to support the event — from marketing to attendee experience. What we build each year: - Landing page - Registration & ticketing - Speaker & session showcase - Scheduling & session management - RSVP system - DP generator (drives pre-event engagement and social sharing) Stack: Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, TanStack Query, Zustand, Axios — with custom JavaScript and CSS animations throughout.
