I'm a frontend engineer with three years of experience and a genuine love for building things people use and enjoy. I'm currently transitioning into machine learning, with a focus on Data Engineering and MLOps, and a long-term interest in AI safety research. I'm open to both mid-level or senior frontend roles and entry-level opportunities in data science/engineering and machine learning. I get a kick out of novelty so I am always excited to learn new technologies and techniques. In my free time, I contribute to open-source—as a developer, researcher or in leadership. I love animals. I also enjoy poetry, books, and indie/alternative music that borders on psychedelic and a lot of people know me as "Lere", short for 'Omolere' (pronounced 'or-more-lay-ray'), which is by far my favorite of all my names.
